Rayburn Yachts Design Philosophy

We strive to create a better yacht by having an in house design team to ensure the best possible outcome for every project built by Rayburn. Using sound principals and avoiding overoptimistic goals and expectations we are able to ensure a successful outcome. We utilize the most appropriate quality methods and materials available while considering a degree of practicality. We have assembled a team of designers and work with Naval Architects and Engineers whose core philosophies are well aligned and whose reputations are built on these foundations. Our goal is to deliver more than we have promised and exceed your expectations.

We can create and manage an entire design in house or we are also eager to work with other designers to assist in various facets to put their design into production. We offer service in 3d surface modeling, cnc machined tooling planning, 3d interior design, 2d drafting, weight study prediction and control programs. Our involvement can range from simple support in any one of these areas or taking a preliminary sketch to a complete production ready design.

Production Ready Designs

These designs have been through considerable review with plans created for methods of production, 3D interior joinery designs, systems engineering including wiring schematics and piping plans. If you are looking to be involved in a new custom build but would rather avoid all the intensive time required to create a new plan from scratch this is a great place to start. Your own personal touch can still be considered and with the aid of 3D visualization and extensive information available sound decisions can be made to ensure a gratifying experience.
